About 5 weeks ago I found out I had problems with the retina in one of my eyes.  I ended up having surgery, but still can't see well enough to drive.  I'm not sure if that's more of a problem for me or for Gail.  The doctor has said I'm on track, and might be able to drive in another week or so.  I've regained the top half of my vision so far, and am hoping the bubble will dissolve quicker from now on.  Not much pain, but just really inconvenient.
